Albisgütli Festival in Zurich is one of the biggest country festivals in Europe, and getting to play it felt like a milestone. Together with my band, we stood in front of an international crowd singing along just as hard as they do back home in the Netherlands — proof that a good country story knows no borders.
We played songs like 'Life's A Beach', 'Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)', and 'Freight Train' for a crowd full of energy. Footage from that show is now up on my YouTube channel, and it shows exactly why international festivals like this one mean so much to me.
It's confirmation that the road from Assen to Nashville — and everywhere in between — has been worth it.
